About

Yoga can feel (and be) exclusive and look impossible.

I work to contradict that wherever I can, teaching weekly classes in the community at fair prices with options, props and a focus on your independence as a yoga practitioner, whatever kind of practice you have.

I founded SECRET YOGA in 2017 to do what I can to make yoga and its benefits more accessible and to remove the blockers that come up, especially the unhelpful notion that you need to be flexible.

My own yoga journey began with pregnancy yoga. After nearly two decades of exploring many styles and forms of yoga, I qualified as a teacher in 2018. Since then I have attended further training including Trauma-informed Yoga and Yin, workshops and retreats, learning from many disciplines and styles  with a focus on evidence-based techniques and genuine accessibility.

I strive to provide accessible, safe (and fun!) classes where everyone is welcome, respected and able to practice in the way that is right for them.

I also have a limited number of one-to-one students where more attention would be useful to tackle specific areas of practice or to find ways to support well-being issues like stress or injury.
